Douglas M. Osborne, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Osborne is a graduate of UCLA, where he studied and received his Bachelor's of Science in Zoology. He then attended the Southern Califonia College of Optometry and received his degree of Doctor of Optometry in 1978. He has been in private practice for over 25 years. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, San Diego County Optometric Society, and American Academy of Optometry. He is involved in Sight for Students, VSP and currently serves as Past President of the Board of Directors for the San Diego County Optometric Society. He attends New Community Church here in central Vista.

Susie

Susie is the front office manager for our Carlsbad office. She has been with the office for over five years now and is knowledgable of most insurances. She is a native to this area as she grew up in North County and raised her family here. She is an irreplacable asset to our office. Chances are it will be her friendly voice that answers the phone when you call.

Maria

Maria has worked with Dr. Osborne for over nine years. She has been a dispensing optician for over 17 years, with incredible expertise in her area. She has an excellent sense of optical style, and is committed to providing the best possible service to all of our patients.

Ashley

Ashley works in the front office. Hers is one of the first voices you may hear when you call our Carlsbad office. Along with Susie, she will assist you with scheduling your appointment and any insurance questions you might have. Even though Ashley is working nearly full time in the office, she is also attending college to obtain her bachelors degree.
